Sole Patch

Following treatment of a wound in the sole when infection is not present and any soft tissue sufficiently granulated to allow permanent protection a sole patch may be applied as opposed to a complete sole.

Procedure

As for sole protection, plus-fill lesion/hole with medicated dressing or putty – surgical spirit around cleaned sole.

Apply adhesive around area – up to all that quarter of the sole, then mould on Imprint Hoof Repair, then allow to stand until set and adhesive cured.
