Testimonials from veterinarians who

Having used the
Imprint Shoeing
System for laminitic cases in our clinic for over two years I remain
convinced that they can make a very significant impact on the comfort and
subsequent recovery of many horses.
Over almost two decades of treating laminitis I have used a wide variety of
pads, heart bars shoes, sole packs etc. to provide frog support before
adopting Poynton Imprint shoes as my first choice treatment for both
rotational laminitis and distally displaced pedal bones. With these shoes I
find that I can see an immediate improvement in the movement of the horse
after fitting - often up to one Obel grade. Last year I had a number of
laminitics that were particularly badly affected in the hind feet. Poynton
Imprint shoes proved invaluable in the management of these cases which I
might previously have considered to have a very poor prognosis.
The system is easy to use and means that there need be no delay between
diagnosis, X ray and shoeing. The range of sizes and flexibility of the
material mean that all but the very largest of horses can be treated. My
only criticism is that a size 6 and 6.5 would be useful additions to the
shoes available.
When properly applied they rarely come off prematurely - unlike many other
glue on type shoes. Indeed I often find that removal at 6 weeks can be a
minor challenge!
I am also always impressed by the efficiency of the backup service. Orders
arrive promptly and the office staff are both friendly and helpful. I know
that Andrew Poynton has put a considerable amount of thought and research
into this excellent product and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Imprint shoes have
revolutionized the way we treat laminitis. Since we used them for the very
first time (over 2 years ago) we never looked back and now they are our
first and only choice in dealing with laminitis. Their most important
qualities are simplicity and ease of application as well as comfort they
provide to the horse with instant relief of the pain. They can be fitted
much sooner after a laminitic attack than any other shoes I have ever used,
and give us immediate results. They are durable, easily modified and came in
a range of sizes to suit all of our patients.
This testimonial would not be complete without a word
about Andrew, who has without a doubt put an enormous amount of work into
developing this product. Not only that support, ordering and technical
issues are dealt with immediately but working with Andrew, he has proven to
be extremely professional and straightforward. His immediate willingness to
help is second to none. He keeps things simple while giving his full
attention to the smallest detail, resulting in immediate results. Well done
Andrew and keep up the good work.

Imprint
technology is highly versatile and brilliant in its simplicity. The product
has been designed to be used on horses and ponies of all different shapes,
sizes and uses. I have experience with these shoes in many such different
capacities, some of which would include penetrating solar injury with a
screw-on removable hospital plate for easy access, laminitis, navicular
syndrome, severe coronary band deficits resulting in substantial hoof wall
deficits and angular limb deformities in foals.
Many of these
cases remain shod with Imprint shoes and are in full work, competing in a
variety of disciplines. There is no doubt in my mind that Imprint shoes
have enormously benefited all of my patients. They are non-traumatic to fit
on a painful horse and just as importantly, they can last as long as a steel
shoe. As with any shoe, they should be fitted onto carefully trimmed,
balanced feet to gain optimal benefit to the horse.
My endorsement
of Imprint is easy; I consistently get rapid, positive results with an
improved patient and a delighted owner.
