De-lamination of hoof wall
|
|
I
just thought I would write a quick note of
thanks for both your products and for the
training received at the Imprint courses that
I have attended. I have used your shoes in a
number of situations but one case in
particular stands out as a resounding success,
please find attached to this email a number of
photos of "Pringle" a first pony purchased by
one of my clients that unbeknownst to them was
a chronic laminitic. The first time I shod him
there was a rather ominous hollow ring as I
was lifting the clenches and removal of the
shoe revealed an almost complete de-lamination
of the hoof wall from heel to heel, and as it
turned out, to within an inch of the coronary
band.

Imprint Hoof rebuild & Sport
shoe
|
|
I
used Imprint
Hoof Repair granules to rebuild the hoof
wall and applied a normal shoe. This worked
well until a further attack of laminitis made
the need for internal support apparent. This
was when the x-rays were taken. After this,
for the period of about 9 months, he was shod
with Imprint Sport. Throughout the entire time
he was wearing the sport shoes he was sound
and in work, the shoes stayed on for the
entire shoeing period, and he grew back a good
quality and largely undistorted hoof capsule.

you.
Kind Regards
