One heel trimmed as shown… toe still to be trimmed

Creating indentations… to key in plastic

Clean with Surgical spirit

Add boiling water - just below ground surface of shoe

Applying adhesive to flange…

Offering shoe to prepared foot

Centred on frog… moulding to foot and filling indentations

Pinching frog plate to thicken and contour to frog

Warm soft shoe… translucent before setting

Cooling shoe... note seating clearance around toe

Shoe cool and white… before bearing weight

Shoe blended to heel

Bead of adhesive - to ensure seal

Smooth adhesive

Low strong… flexible flange

Finished… after rasping

Imprint shoe after 6 weeks

To remove shoe first rasp off flange

Note indentations filled with plastic

After flange is rasped off remove from heel with nippers. The foot is now ready to be trimmed again. End.
